About

We as a nation and planet are going through rough times with surmounting problems like growing waves beating on the shore. Most of us sense that things are uneasy, but uncertain where we are heading. Meanwhile, our country faces political polarization and gridlock, making the likelihood of coming up with effective solutions rather gloomy.

I believe we are going through a period of time, which affords great opportunity for personal and planetary growth. There are many others who share this belief as well.

I’m not a doomsayer or fear monger. However, I think that things, both personal and beyond, sometimes happen for a reason, and therefore feel it’s important not to be passive. Bad things can still happen. We have free will.

This website doesn’t take the side of Liberal, Conservative, or even Centrist. This website embraces the idea that people with different points of view need to respect one another’s concerns and values, and engage in a real national conversation on the issues. Only by so doing will we come up with the innovative solutions required to meet the challenges of our times.

In addition, I belief such dialogue can be done without compromising our individual rights or republic way of life, which most democrats and republicans, progressives and tea partiers embrace.

While it would be great if we could actually change the dialogue and I do believe that it is necessary if we are to come together as a country, but I don’t know how there can be a sane dialogue about a subject like abortion where each side is so diametrically opposed to the other. Liberals do not think abortion is a good thing, so there is agreement there, but whether it is a women’s right to make her own choice the conservative position is totally opposite to that.

I would like to hear you views on how structure that dialogue.
